Ray Herbert and his team understand the importance of community and have provided a world-class service to the people of Kokstad since he joined the Build it family in 2004.
In 2007, the store won its first National Store of the Year Award.
Since then, this family-run business has gone from strength to strength, with sons Dyllan and Ryan joining the business in 2010 and 2019 respectively.
As proud members of the Build it family, the Herberts take pride in training, empowering and promoting existing staff into management roles and now serve communities through their stores in Kokstad, Matatiele, Bizana, Mt Frere and Umzimkhulu.
They attribute their continued success and growth to the commitment and passion of their people and dedicate this achievement to everyone who has helped to grow Build it Kokstad into the business that it is.
