Congratulations to eThekwini who were crowned the prestigious Build it U13 / DSR KZN champions!
The event, which took place on Saturday 25th February 2022 at Moses Mabhida Stadium, saw 14 teams come together to battle it out on the field. Besides soccer, players were also treated to some fun with a real Durban experience, as well as life skills and motivational talks by local soccer stars and coaching icon Clive Barker. The Gugu Dlamini foundation educated the players about social issues such as gender-based violence, bullying and substance abuse.
"We understand that soccer is the passion of our people and we are so blessed and honoured to be part of such as incredible inititiative, said Rob Lister, Managing Director of Build it.
The event was an incredible success filled with passion, commitment & excitement.
