- 1. How do I sign up for Build it Rewards?
You can sign up for Rewards in the following ways:
- Visit Build it - Rewards and register for Build it Rewards.
- Dial 120*1001# and follow the prompts.
- Visit a participating Build it store and register in-store.
- 2. If I was a member of the old Cash Rewards programme, do I need to re-register?
You will not need to re-register, but you will need to opt in to the new programme. An SMS with a link to opt in was sent to all existing members, however, if you missed it, don’t stress, you can opt in by clicking on the following link: Loyalty Customer Lookup.
- 3. What happens to my existing balance?
Your existing balance will be transferred to the new Build it Rewards programme.
- 4. Is Build it Rewards available at all Build it stores?
Build it Rewards is available at selected Build it stores. Please check the Build it Website to see which stores offer Build it Rewards.
- 5. What rewards can I earn?
Points can be earned when purchasing selected products in-store. Rewards products will earn a % discount and that discount equates to points. Each point equals R1 / 1N$ etc…
- 6. Can I earn and redeem points at any participating Build it store?
Yes, you can earn and redeem points at any participating Build it store.
- 7. How do I redeem points?
You can redeem points against any purchase by entering your cell number or scanning your Rewards card at the till. You will be sent a One-Time Pin before being able to redeem points.
- 8. Can I redeem points straight away after earning them?
Points will be available to redeem 24 hours after earning them.
- 9. What happens if I return a product I earned points on?
Should you return a product, your points will be reversed and may go into negative in the event that the points were already redeemed.
- 10. How can I view my balance?
You can view your balance on the Build it website or at the till point in-store. You will also be sent a monthly SMS with your current Rewards balance.
- 11. What if I change my cell number?
Should your cell number change, please contact the Build it Customer Care Line to update your cell number. It is your responsibility to ensure that your active cell number is linked to your Rewards profile. Remember, that you can only redeem points with your active cell number linked to your profile due to the One-Time Pin functionality.
- 12. What if I lose my card?
Any participating Build it store will be able to re-issue you a new card.
- 13. Will I know how many Reward points I earned after each purchase?
An estimated number of points earned will be printed on your till slip. Please note that this is estimated, and points may be adjusted after the official recon which will take place within 24 hours of the purchase.
- 14. Do my points expire?
Should there be no activity on your profile after a 3-year period, your profile will become inactive and your points will be forfeited.
- 15. Can I link multiple cards to one profile?
The programme allows for multiple cards to be linked to one profile. Only the registered cell number will be able to redeem the points with the One-Time Pin functionality. A card needs to be linked to the registered cell number in-store.
